Biography / Биография maNga is a Turkish rap rock band performing mostly a fusion of alternative rock and hip hop music, with a touch of Anatolian melodies and with electronic elements. maNga was formed in 2001 and came into the public spotlight after finishing runner-up at the Sing your song' music contest. First album of the band, was published in 2004 reaching gold status (more than 100 000 copies sold) with re-release in 2006. Second album, "Sehr-i Huzun" has appeared in 2009. Members of the band are: Ferman Akgul (vocals), Yagmur Sarigul (guitar), Cem Bahtiyar (bass), Efe Yilmaz (turntables), Ozgur Can Oney (drums).
